The Margosa is a refurbished 19th century colonial manor where traditional architectural features are blended with comfortable contemporary living spaces. A broad front veranda fronts the property, which is surrounded by landscaped gardens scattered with fruit trees which attract many birds. The bedrooms are positioned around the central courtyard and are decorated with colourful handloom fabrics, antique brass lamps and copper urns and local art. The Margosa has a homely feel and offers a peaceful holiday setting away from the hustle and bustle of Jaffna town.
